On Friday, my brother and I went to Manhattan to check out this camera store called B&H. It was my brother's idea taking me there. He thought it was a good idea since I have been planning to buy a new camera and still having trouble deciding which camera is right for me. This way, I can get a sense which one I want to buy when I'm ready. Yes, my brother is a geek so this type of thing is up in his alley and no he will not be buying me a camera because he had brought me there. I wish but, that's not going to happen. Anyway, the thought is what counts and I like hanging out with my brother. He always will be mine big brother, the one that I look up to and nothing will change that (except for the second part). =)
After we spend like two hours in B&H I have finally found "the camera" that I want to buy. It's affordable and metes all of my basic needs (Anyway I choose to buy that camera model later on online). Of course there always some better camera out there but, I don't have that kind of money to burn as of right now. Maybe, one day in the future. For those who don't regularly shop at B&H they open from 9 - 2pm on Friday and close the whole day on Saturday. But, they open from 9 - 7pm on week days and open on Sunday. Go figure, Jewish stores run on a totally different time schedule compare to most of us.
When 2 O'clock comes around and the store close we walk around time square and then have lunch. That's pretty sum up what I did on Friday. Here is some pictures.
At the middle of Time square. I like this picture just because of all the yellow taxi were stuck in traffic. LOL People are better off walking then taking the taxi. Here in New York, New York walking and subway is the fastest transportation there is.
Does anyone know which side the ball drop on New Year Eve? In this picture shows one of them and there is another one across on the opposite side. I know this sound stupid coming from someone who spends her whole life living in New York but, I never paid attention to these kinds of details.

During the time I was in the smack in the middle of Time square Broadway there so happen to be a men broadcasting some horse race update live. The closest thing next to being in the presence of actual live news. I wish I can be the NBC news where they record live on Rocket Fellow Center. Unfortunately, I didn't wake early enough to catch that.
Here is us having lunch at Time Square. This restaurant theme is so funny. They took the idea from Forest Gump. I enjoy while I was there but the service was so-so. The waitress keep rushing us through the whole meal.

My brother and I at Bubba Gump restaurant. I hate taking picture from this angle it makes my head looks huge but, I have no choice. No one was there to help me to take the picture.

This is a example of what I was talking about. The theme of this restaurant taken from the movie Forrest Gump. You put up the sign RUN FORREST RUN when you don't need their service.

And when you want service from the waitress you turn over to the other sign STOP FORREST STOP. Way too hilarious and tempting flipping them back and forth just for the fun it but, I didn't.

We have the shrimp heaven. Contain four categories of shrimp prepared differently with three different choice of sauce. Compliment with coled slaw and French fries.

And we have Salmon burger. Very good but, a bit sloppy to eat.
I'm sorry, if I have made you hungry. At least you didn't consume all of those greasy food. Believe me, I felt bad right after I finish the meal.
After we have lunch we walk around aimlessly and some how ended up at the M&M World.

Tempting ha?
You know you want to go in.

Do I have to say anything more! It's so cute, I have to take a picture. How often do you see a blue M&M doing the disco.

She is so beautiful. Ms. Green M&M as statue of liberty. I wish N.Y. still have the Statue of Liberty symbol as N.Y.'s licence plate. In my heart its still is.

All the M&M that you can think of! They are all here baby! Whatever kind you want, just name it, they are probably located in this store.

Me at Rocket Fellow Center. They always don't have the Christmas tree up when I come and visit.
=(
On Saturday, I spend the whole day working on the bathroom tile. On the positive note my mom cook something special for dinner. Mostly, because she want to celebrate that night but, we were too busy going back working on the bathroom after dinner.

Family dinner
Love it! Better than eating in a loud crowd restaurant.
On Sunday, it's actually the day of my birthday. So, we sing happy birthday and ate some slice of cake. This year is Strawberry moose cake. Yeah, it didn't taste so well. I like the chocolate moose cake better that I have chosen for mom's previous birthday. After eating the cake I went back to work some more on the bathroom's tile.

********************Happy Birthday!*************
